Silk Fanveil techniques and simple choreography course for a single fanveil - suitable for all levels, no experience necessary we will start from the very basics (how to hold the fanveil) and build up weekly through simple, fun and then more complex patterns of movement. Belly dancing with a fanveil enhances posture and co-ordination, as well as being energetically healing and mesmerising!
Material needed: We use a right-hand silk fanveil measuring 150 cm (slightly shorter or longer is fine too).
If you’re planning to invest in fanveils, consider purchasing a pair of left- and right-hand fans, as you may wish to explore double fanveil dancing in the future. Alternatively, you can start with just a right-hand fanveil.
If you’re unsure where to buy, feel free to email us — we sell pairs for £30 (dispatched in early January for orders placed by 31st December). Additionally, our students can enjoy a 5% discount at the WingedSirenny online store using the code Fleur Estelle.
If your fanveil doesn’t arrive in time for the start of the course, you can use an A4 piece of cardboard for the first class.

Why now? We only run this particular course seasonally / occasionally so the next opportunity may not be until a year later :-)

Fees are non-refundable, but transferable to a friend if you can no longer take the course. If you miss live classes on the course you can catch up with the class recordings by streaming them at a time that is convenient for you.
