Silk veil techniques and choreography course for a rectangle silk veil - suitable for all levels, no experience necessary we will start from the very basics (how to hold the veil) and build up weekly through simple, fun and then more complex and challenging patterns of movement. Belly dancing with a veil enhances posture and co-ordination, as well as being energetically healing and mesmerising!
Material needed: We use a 2.7m by 1.1m rectangular silk veil. A few cm variation exists on all hand made veils :-) It's thickness is approx 5mm (or anything from 4mm to 6mm thickness) Slightly larger or slightly smaller size would still work, if the difference is only a few cm. If you're unsure where to buy email us we can advise online shops. Alternatively you could use a chiffon or organza veil or even a large sarong for the first class if your veil doesn't arrive in time for the start of the course.
Dates: Starts on 15th March 2023, ends on 17th May 2023
Time: Every Wednesday at 7:30pm London time for 10 weeks (1 hour each week)

Week 9-10 Refining and consolidation
Peppered throughout the course: Feedback, Q&A, zoom-room meet fellow class mates, team improvisation exercises to develop confidence & magic!
Why now? We only run this particular course (Silk Veil) seasonally / occasionally so the next opportunity may not be until a few months or a year later :-)

Fees are non-refundable, but transferable to a friend if you can no longer take the course. If you miss live classes on the course you can catch up with the class recordings by streaming them at a time that is convenient for you.
